Transcripts and Report Cards

A real high school transcript with GPA and credits, or a simple report card for younger grades, built from the courses you keep on file.

Younger grades and high school need genuinely different documents, so Homeschool Owl builds both from the same course list depending on your child's grade. For grades K-8, that means a simple report card: subject, grade or mark, and a comment if you want one. For grades 9-12, it means a real transcript with credit hours per course and an unweighted GPA calculated automatically from the grades you've entered, the same math a school registrar would use.

You maintain the course list separately from daily logging, course name, school year, credit hours, and a grade, then generate the document whenever you need it, not just once at the end of the year. Nothing here requires the curriculum itself to carry any particular accreditation; what colleges and evaluators actually check is the transcript and the records behind it, not the brand on the course materials.

  • Automatic GPA and credit-hour calculation for high school transcripts
